The 2013 ACM awards are here again and this year we had to good fortune and privilege in powering campaigns for a majority of the finalist in the fan-voting categories including 3/5 of the Entertainer of the Year and 1/3 of the New Artist of the Year categories.
All the the promotions this year are client driven (meaning they came up with the ideas, we didn't) which made for a more interesting, more diverse and more creative set of applications. Here they are:
Jason Aldean - ACM Video Download Tweematic
The Tweematic is our classic "Get Out the Vote" engine and Spalding Entertainment and Broken Bow Records decided that this is their choice of promotional vehicle for this years ACM awards. The idea is simple, reward fans for sharing a "Get Out the Vote" message by allow them to view or download Jason's new 1994 music video. Miranda Lambert - Mama's Broken Heart Maze
The creative minds at Shopkeeper Management and Sony Nashville decided that this year they wanted to do something truly unique - an online game based on Miranda's current single - Mama's Broken Heart. The idea was to engage fans with a creative game based on their favorite artist and encourage them to vote for Miranda at the same time! The game, built rapidly (<1 week) on one of our many gaming engines, requires fans to guide Miranda through 5 levels of Mama's broken heart, collecting make-up items for extra points! Blake Shelton Interactive ACM Timeline
This campaign we designed and developed in HTML-5 for Warner Nashville country music artist Blake Shelton features and interactive (Cover Flow-type) timeline that allows fans to view and "interact with" the artist career and vote for him as Entertainer of the Year! Jana Kramer's "Breaking the Glass Ceiling" Interactive Video Promotion
This is a campaign we helped put together for Warner Nashville country music artist Jana Kramer. The idea was to highlight Jana's accomplishments and demonstrate how she has "broken through" using a creative video and some interactive content pieces. This was part of an overall "Get Out the Vote Campaign" for the 2013 ACM Awards and fans were encouraged to vote for Jana at the end of the interactive piece.
