We design, built and deploy a growing number of photo and video upload applications. With client's strong desires to incorporate user generated content (UGC) in a broad range of applications, many of our application on both Facebook and Twitter, now incorporate support for user uploaded photos or video. Good examples include the UGC video Facebook applications we recently deployed for Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne or even some of the new Photo Tweematics we have deployed for artist like Angie Johnson and Brice Lee.

Some of our clients have asked to see what the mobile interface and workflow looks like, so we thought it would to a good idea to post an example.

Webcam Mobile Workflow:
The mobile webcam capture is pretty intuitive on mobile devices. The user clicks the Start Record button and they are prompted with the options to either capture new video using your mobile photo's built-in video camera and then automatically uploaded it to the application, or choose an existing video they wish to submit.

Photo or Video Upload Workflow
The photo or video upload workflow is equally intuitive on mobile devices. Users are asked to choose a file to upload and are then prompted to either take a photo or video and then automatically upload it, or use an existing file.
