We recently designed and launched  a Video Karaoke application on Facebook that allowed Straight No Chaser fans to sing along to SNC hit "I Want You Back" for a chance to win an Apple iPad. We have had a lot of interest in the application, as well as other video-driven user generated content (UGC) applications we have built for artists like Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne, Kurt Carr, Travis Porter and others. Here are some of the finalists of the SNC Karaoke contest to give users an example of the quality of video one can expect from the Karaoke. Our teams has worked to try and eliminate feedback and give users good controls and instructions to help eliminate some of the problems associated with trying to do karaoke through an online application (audio feedback, asynchronous audio latency, roundtrip latency, i.e.).
