Here are some common album reveal sequence we use on our Tweewmatic platform to implement album cover reveal share-gated or like-gated productions. You should also read our post on album reveal options for more background information.
- Album Build (Donna Summers, Dwight Yoakam, The Killers)
This reveal sequence works in cases were the cover consists of a finite number of concrete objects (in layers) that are hidden and then made visible to "build" the album cover in stages
- Album Sections (Alejandro Sanz, Neon Trees)
Album is reveal it rectangular blocks (quarters, sixths, eights, i.e.), a very basic reveal approach when all else fails - Binary (Cody Simpson)
The simplest reveal approach where cover is hidden until it is revealed, this is no sequence involved in this approach - Jigsaw Puzzle (Jennifer Neetles, Ricardo Montaner)
Uses a jigsaw puzzle template to reveal an album cover. Popular with Facebook Like-gate reveals - Linear (Alice in Chains)
Used only in special cases that make sense, this is a straight linear album cover reveal. These can also be used with a timer (timed-release) feature.
- Mosaic Blur Sequence (ZZB, Cole Swindell)
A popular reveal sequence that uses a mosaic blur effect to obscure the album cover, popular with complex album cover artwork - Mosaic (My Children, My Bride, Portugal the Man)
Our mosaic engine can also be used as part of an album reveal process - Pixelated (Cher Lloyd, Ciara, Alejandro Fernandex)
Flash-based pixelation effect (also has mobile support) that slowly reveals pixels of the album against a black background
